For Tampering::
Urad Dal....1 tsp
Chana Dal...1 tsp
Mustard Seeds...1/2 tsp
Cumin/Jeera seeds...1/2 tsp
Hing....1 pinch
Red Chilly ...1
Curry Leaves..5
Oil....1 tbsp
- Wash and cook rice with 2 cups of water.
- Once the rice is cooked mash it with a spatula to make the rice soft.
- Mix it with curd and salt.
- Dice the cucumber and grate the carrot .Mix in the rice and curd mixture.
- Chop the green chilly into very small pieces. Or grind ginger and green chilly together.
- Mix green chilly and ginger with the rice mixture.
- Heat oil in a tampering pan and fry the ingredients under the tampering section.
- Mix with curd rice .
NOTE::
If u want to use shallots ,chop them very fine and add them raw to the rice mixture or u can fry them and add them.
