Grind to a paste together the following..........
MUSTARD SEEDS............1tsp
RED CHILLY......................4-5
PLAIN RICE.......................1tsp
HING..................................a small block or 2 pinch of hing powder
SESAME SEEDS................1tsp(optional)
TURMERIC POWDER.......1 pinch
FOR TAMPERING:
URAD DAL.............1 tsp
GRAM DAL.............1 tsp
RED CHILLY..........1
CURRY LEAVES
MUSTARD SEEDS........1 tsp
HING............................small pinch
OIL...............................1 tbsp
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- First cut the beans into medium pieces.Boil them till they are well boiled.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the ingredients for tampering.
- Once the seeds splutter add the boiled beans and fry them for 2-3 min.
- Add the ava paste and the tamarind juice.Add some water if needed.
- Cover with the lid and allow to cook.
- cook till all the liquid will over.
- Add sugar an dkeep it on low for 2 more min.and take off from the stove.
