A SIMPLE FRIED RICE





tri coloured fried rice

INGREDIENTS:

Basmati rice.....cooked well 1 cup
Carrot...............1 big
Potato................1 big
Capsicum(green)...........1
Onion.................1
Cumin seeds.............1 tsp
Soy sauce...........1 tsp
Chilly flakes........1 tsp
Salt.............as per taste

METHOD:
  • Boil the rice and keep aside
  • Cut the veggies into medium sized pieces.Boil them in the microwave for 5-10 min.
  • Heat oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds.When they splutter add chopped onion.
  • When the onion turns colour add the boiled veggies.Add salt.
  • Fry for 5 min.Add soy sauce and chilly flakes.
  • Mix with the boiled rice.Serve hot...

NOTE:In this recipe for the chilly flakes i have used the pizza hut chilly flakes.u can also do the same..
