Coriander leaves chutney



INGREDIENTS:
Coriander Leaves.........2 bunches
Tamarind paste..............1 tsp
Salt....................................as required
Green chilly....................3-4
Oil.....................................4 tbsp
Turmeric..........a pinch

For Tampering:
Red chilly....................2
Urad dall.....................1 tbsp
Chana dal.....................1 tsp
Cumin seeds.................1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds...............1 tsp
Hing...................small block

METHOD:
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil and add chopped coriander leaves.
  • Fry them until the color has changed as shown in the picture.

  • Remove them from the pan and heat the remaining oil.
  • Add the ingredients for tampering.When it is all done switch off the heat.Add the green chilly now to the tampering.The chillies will fry in the oil because it will be hot for sometime.

  • When it is cooled grind the coriander leaves and the tampering along with the tamarind,turmeric and the required salt.


  • Serve with dosa or idli..as u like..
