Gobi Manchurian

INGREDIENTS::
Cauliflower Florets ….3 cups

For The Batter: 
All Purpose Flour/Maida….1/4th cup
Corn Starch…2 Tbsp.
Ginger Garlic paste...1 tsp
Salt…1/2 tsp
Green chilly (chopped fine or paste)…2
Water…for mixing
Oil for Frying the florets


For The Manchurian:

Onion…1small one, Chopped finely
Spring Onion….1 stalk, chopped
Ginger-Garlic Paste….1tsp.
Salt….according to taste
Red Chili Powder..1/4th tsp.
Soy Sauce…1tbsp.
Rice Vinegar… 1 tsp.
Sweet and Spicy Tomato Ketchup….1 tbsp.
Oil…2 Tbsp.
Coriander Leaves for garnish






PREPARATION::
·         First wash the Cauliflower Florets and soak them in hot water for about 15 min.
·         Meanwhile mix the ingredients for the Batter .The batter should not be runny .The consistency should be little below than dosa batter.
·         Heat oil in deep pan. Dip the florets in the batter so that the florets are well coated with the batter and fry them in the oil.
·         Drain them on a paper towel and keep aside.
·         Heat 2 tbsp. of oil in another pan.
·         Fry the chopped onion. When the onion is translucent add the ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell recedes.
·         Then add finely chopped spring onions. (Leave 2 tbsp. of spring onions to decorate).
·         Then add the fried florets and mix with salt, red chili powder, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and tomato ketchup.
·         Mix well .Cook for 5 more minutes. At this time you can add some chopped coriander leaves and mix.
·         Remove from heat, Garnish with the coriander leaves and the green part of the spring onion.
·         Serve hot.
