INGREDIENTS:
For Paneer/Cheese:
Milk ... 1 litre (preferably whole milk)
Lemon Juice...1tbsp
Curd/yogurt...2 tbsp
For Sugar Syrup:
Sugar...1 cup
METHOD:
- Boil the milk.Add the lemon juice and curd immediately to the hot milk and mix well.
- The milk will curdle up slowly. Keep it aside until the milk is completely cooled.
- Drain the milk with the help of a cheese cloth .
- Try to take out all the moisture from the paneer/cheese.
- Take the paneer onto a plate and kneed it until the paneer won't stick to your hands.
- Meanwhile mix the sugar with the water and heat until the sugar melts .
- Make small round balls out of the paneer and add them to the sugar syrup and bring it to boil for 5 minutes .and keep it on low for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat . Once the rasagullas are cooled down keep them in the refrigerator and serve them chilled.
