Healthy and Delicious Banana Smoothie

The Banana and Orange smoothie is very good for breakfast as it  contains Flax seed powder which is a high source of protein .

1 Banana
1 Orange
1/4th C of Milk
1/4th C of Water
2 Ice Cubes
1 Tbsp of Flax seed powder
4 Dates
10 Almonds soaked overnight/for at least 6 hrs

Blend all of the above in a blend to a smooth consistency.

Notes:


  1. If the dates are too hard for blending cut them into small pieces and put them in hot water for 15 minutes before making the smoothie. 
  2. You can put 1/2 c of orange juice instead of an orange.
  3. You can add 1/2 an apple also to this smoothie. Just die the apple and blend it along .
