
I learned this recipe from my mother-in-law.She is a very good cook.In her 60's also she likes to cook and serve her children and she likes to feed her grand children.

TAMARIND PASTE......1 tbsp
SUGAR ..........................1/2tsp
FOR MASALA:
ONION......
.....1(big size)
GINGER.........2-3 small pieces
GARLIC..........2-3flakes
CORIANDER SEEDS.....1tsp
JEERA.............................1tsp
CINNAMON...................1
ELACHI..........................2
CLOVES............................2
CASHEW........................4

Grind the above ingredients to a fine paste.

Make slits on bothsides of the tindora.Boil them for about 20 min.so that they are half boiled.Heat oil in a pan add the masala paste.Fry it till the masala gives some nice smell and add the boiled tindora.Add salt to taste and chilly powder.Cover with the lid.When the tindaora is all well boiled add the tamarind paste and boil with it for 5 min.Before taking from the stove add sugar.Nice tindora curry is ready.SErve hot with white rice.
