INGREDIENTS:
Gummadikaya ........medium size piece
Salt............................as required
Ginger....................... medium root
Mustard seeds.........1 tsp
Chana dal.....................1 tbsp
Urad dal..........................1 tbsp
Red chilly......................4-5
Cumin seeds.................1 tsp
Curry leaves..............1 stalk
METHOD:
- Cut the pumpkin into medium sized pieces.
- Heat a wide pan .Add 2 tbsp of oil .
- Add the mustard seeds.When they splutter add chana dal,urad dal ,cumin seeds,red chilly and curry leaves.
- When they done add the chopped ginger.Fry till the ginger is well fried.
- Add the sweet pumpkin pieces.Add salt.Cover and cook until they done.
- Add water if needed.
GENERAL SAFETY :Using this in a high quantity may cause Vaatam(leg pains).Don't take this at late nights.It won't easily digest to some people.So be careful with this.
