Onion...................1
Tomato ...............2 small
Ginger Garlic Paste .1 tsp
Green chilly....3
Cumin and coriander powder.....1 tsp
Garam masala.....1/2 tsp
Kitchen king masala.....1 tsp( optional)
Oil .........1 Tbsp
Red chilly powder...1 tsp
Salt..... as required
For the paratha dough
Atta/Wheat Flour......2 cups
Milk......2 tbsp
Oil....1 tsp
Salt....1/2 tsp
Water for kneading. ( use enough water to make into a soft dough. )
Mix all the above ingredients and make a soft dough and rest it at least for an hour.
- Mine the onion. Puree the tomatoes.
- In a pan heat oil and fry the minced onion. Add ginger garlic paste and fry until the onion fried well.
- Add the tomato puree and fry until the liquid evaporates and the mixture comes together. (as shown in the picture).
- Now add all the spice powders and mix well.
- Add grated paneer and keep it on heat while mixing for 2 minutes .
- Switch off the heat .Remove the paneer mixture from the pan to a bowl and keep it for cooling down before making paratha.
- Divide the dough into 9 equal parts .
- Roll each part into a 3 inch circle and put two spoons full of paneer mixture into the center of the rolled chapati and cover it from all the sides as shown in the picture.
- Now dust it with some flour and roll again.
- Heat the tava on med-high heat and fry the paratha applying oil on both sides.
- Sere with your favorite pickle or raita.
Lunch Box Idea
If U like u can add grated carrot and boiled potato as well to the panner mixture.Fry the grated carrot before adding the tomato puree and add the boiled and smashed potato along with the paneer.
