Roasted Cashew Nuts.....1 cup
Tomato .............2
Ginger Garlic paste....1 tsp
Green chilly........2
Khus Khus(Poppy seeds)...1 Tbsp
Curd/Cream........1/4th cup
Salt...........as per the taste
Red Chilly Powder.....1 tsp
Garam Masala.....1/2 tsp
Coriander and Cumin powder....1 tsp
Kitchen King masala(optional)....1 tsp
Oil/Butter....2 tsp
METHOD:
- Soak the roasted cashew nuts in 2 cups of hot water for 5 minutes.
- Grind the poppy seeds and 2 Tbsp of cashew nuts together to a smooth paste.
- Make tomato puree along with green chilly.
- Take a pan and heat 2 tsp of oil/butter.
- Fry the ginger garlic paste . Once nice aroma comes from it (about 10 sec) add the tomato puree and cook it until the oil leaves from around the edges.
- Now add the poppy seeds and cashew nuts paste and fry for 1 minute.
- Add all spices and salt.
- Add some water if u feel the gravy is thick.
- Add the cashew nuts.
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add curd /Cream. Mix it well.
- Switch off the stove. Remove the curry into a serving bowl.
- Serve it hot either with roti or rice.
